About The Role
What you will do
As Senior Infrastructure Engineer you will be responsible for the design, configuration and technical support of the Group infrastructure, monitoring and maintaining the infrastructure to ensure reliable, effective and secure communications that supports our corporate systems.
You will play a key role in supporting projects by providing technical guidance and designing technical solutions to business requirements, ensuring all new initiatives adhere to best practices, audit and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Extensive experience of implementing/managing technical projects
2. Willingness to mentor less experienced members of the team
3. Ability to analyse technical issues quickly and methodically.
4. Ability to work in a confidential manner, especially when working with sensitive information/data
5. Hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues
6. Demonstrable knowledge of Windows server 2016 and above, LANs, WANs, Virtualisation, network design, firewalls
7. Proven track record of delivering infrastructure change projects within time and to budget
8. Excellent and practical knowledge of security, security techniques, their deployment and control within an IT environment

7. Firewall experience - Checkpoint, Sonicwall, Meraki MX
8. Networking experience LAN, WAN - Cisco & Meraki
9. Cloud Skills - Azure Infrastructure, deployment & management
10. O365 Configuration
11. PowerShell Scripting
