E-Learning Content Creator
Location: Southampton Port or Stanford-Le-Hope Port (London Gateway)
Contract: 12 Month Fixed Term
Note: Interviews will be conducted the week of 16th September.
We are offering a unique opportunity for an E-Learning Content Creator to join our Training team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role involves supporting the implementation of our new Learning Management System (LMS) by collaborating with key stakeholders, the Technical Training team, and Human Resources to develop eLearning materials. Responsibilities include administrative support, project coordination, and creating various learning content (PP, SCORM, etc.), updating existing materials, and developing new content.
About The Role
How will you contribute:
1. Create engaging and effective training courses and learning materials.
2. Utilise instructional design principles to develop content, learning objectives, user guides, and assessments.
3. Develop multimedia content, including videos, interactive simulations, quizzes, and other eLearning resources.
4. Use authoring tools like Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar software.
5. Produce and edit training videos for e-learning modules.
6. Upload course content, materials, and assessments into the LMS.
7. Organise courses and manage approval workflows within the LMS.
8. Test courses for functionality, usability, and accuracy.
9. Assist in project coordination, working closely with the project lead and stakeholders.
10. Manage change control processes and ensure project milestones are met.
11. Coordinate technical and user testing, recording issues and arranging test sign-offs.
What will you bring:
* A qualification in training, adult education, multimedia training, or materials development is beneficial.
* Qualifications in HTML, audio, and video editing software are advantageous.
* Relevant experience in training, multimedia development, and instructional design is essential.
* Experience with LMS as a developer or administrator is preferred.
* Proficiency in authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, and graphic design.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Strong project coordination, organisational, and analytical skills.
Additional Notes:
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* Ability to travel to other ports as needed.
* Possession of a valid UK or international driving license.
* No unspent criminal convictions.
