As the Streetworks Manager for our Southern Water Contract, you will be responsible for a small team of Streetworks Coordinators who administer all Streetworks permits and notices in accordance with the Traffic Management Act 2004 (TMA) and New Roads & Street Works Act 1991 (NRSWA). Position: Streetworks Manager Location: Customer Solution Centre (Durrington, West Sussex) Job Type: permanent, full time Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week Salary: up to £40,000 per annum, depending upon experience Benefits: 24 days holiday; personal learning; workplace pension; friendly working environment About the role: Due to continued growth and development and our recent contract win with Southern Water, we are now looking for customer focused people to join us in our Utility Division, working to deliver real and effective solutions to waste-water network and drainage problems. Managing a team of Streetworks Coordinators Working closely with our Planning and Scheduling teams to enable operational delivery Manage the coordination of streetworks throughout Hampshire, Kent and Sussex and the Isle of Wight Assess applications for and issue licenses where appropriate for skips, scaffolds, hoardings, oversails, banners over the highway and any other future related issues Lead the development and continuing application of policies, systems, processes, standards and QA mechanisms for the management and control of penalties for failure to meet with the requirements of appropriate legislation Supervise the use of and operate the Street Works Register to manage the planning of works and events being organised on the highway.
