Job Title: Supporter Relations Officer
We are seeking a Supporter Relations Officer to join our team at one of our 23 rehoming centres. The primary responsibility of this role is to promote the work of Dogs Trust to key audience groups and provide exceptional customer care to supporters, especially legacy pledgers.
Responsibilities:
* Promote Dogs Trust's work within the community and support supporters accordingly.
* Serve as a vital link to supporters, handling legacy and Canine Care Card enquiries, as well as in-memory donations.
* Engage with the community through visits to local businesses and organising talks.
* Coordinate supporter events and tours at rehoming centres.
* Participate in events with the Dogs Trust Village.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will have experience in a public-facing role, with a passion for dogs and commitment to Dogs Trust’s mission. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills are essential, along with the ability to manage workload effectively under pressure.

Team and Department:
The Individual Giving department, part of the Fundraising and Marketing directorate, generates approximately £88 million annually through various fundraising activities. The team reports to Regional Supporter Relations Managers and the Head of Community Supporter Experiences.
Additional Information:
This role is primarily customer-facing and based at the rehoming centre, with travel across the UK, including some overnight stays, weekends, and evenings. A full UK manual driving licence is required. Please note this is a fixed-term maternity leave cover.
