What You’ll Be Doing
As a Business Analyst, you will be vital in supporting the business through data analytics and information flow, aligning technological resources with business objectives. This role requires cross-functional collaboration to ensure data integrity and develop technology solutions that improve information flow, decision-making, and financial analysis.
* Providing support to the current Finance Structure to ensure quality.
* Delivering analytical data that supports critical business metrics and KPIs.
* Actively managing risks, issues, and dependencies and escalating them as necessary.
* Researching processes to enhance information flow, providing insights and recommendations to Management.
* Collaboratively supporting business areas aligned to localised IBP processes and supplying critical reporting to Divisional Managers and the Senior Leadership Team.
* Focusing on continuous improvement regarding information flow using modern data analytics tools.
* Providing data-oriented support for monthly reporting, quarterly forecasting, and annual budget cycles.
The Skills You Need
* Experience in creating & maintaining automated solutions for information delivery (Power BI).
* Resourceful with creative problem-solving & visualization skills.
* Proactive mentality for driving continuous improvement in data utilization and information flow.
* Demonstrated experience in data management within a finance-oriented function.
* Understanding of financial controls, compliance, and data health.
* Proven utilization of technology solutions for data flow.
* Experience in a manufacturing background, ideally within an engineering design and development environment.
* Degree Equivalent Qualification (incorporating Data Modelling / Enhanced Data Flow).
* Financial qualification (Min AAT, CIMA / ACCA).
