Role:
To accurately record and perform financial transactions and accounting to ensure the effective operation of the campsite and the GLMW Scout County. To undertake analysis and provide insights into the financial health of both the County and the Campsite compared to the budgets set.

Responsible for: none
Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for ensuring accurate recording of transactions for the PACCAR Scout Camp and GLMW Scout County.
2. Responsible for ensuring cash handling at the campsite is reasonable, accurate and appropriately monitored.
3. Responsible for preparing reports and accounts as required for the effective financial management for the site and County.
4. Responsible for ensuring that audit activities, both internal and external, are facilitated such that they can be conducted efficiently.
Key Tasks:
1. To record and track Accounts Payable activities including invoices, expense claims and statutory/tax payments.
2. To record and track Accounts Receivable activities including monitoring and pursuing outstanding sums and monitoring deposits due for future bookings.
3. To prepare at least weekly a bank run for the paying in of cheques and cash and obtaining additional change/float required.
4. To attend the PACCAR Scout Camp Board Meetings (4 times/year) and the County Finance Subcommittee meetings (4 times/year) – note these are held in the evening.
5. To liaise with the auditors and accountants retained by the campsite and the County to ensure they have any information required to conduct their activities.
6. To perform reconciliation with bank statements (etc) on a regular basis.
7. To perform management reporting as required for the efficient operation of the campsite and the GLMW Scout County.
8. To assist with the preparation, entering and monitoring of budgets.
9. To conduct any other reasonable tasks to ensure the sound financial operation of the County and the campsite.

Pay: £22,880.00-£26,880.00 per year
