Hours: 45 hours per week
What will you be responsible for?
As a Delivery Manager you'll be working within the Project team, supporting them in overseeing and project managing the day-to-day management and delivery for the TKJV highways maintenance performance framework for Transport for London, London boroughs and external clients. You will be co-ordinating and liaising with the Transport for London clients, internal and external design teams / consultants, sub-contractors, and stakeholders meeting delivery / forecast dates, fully utilising our allocation and delivering within the client programme.
Your day to day will include:
* Weekly reporting on the performance of the workforce, subcontractors, suppliers, engineers and supervisors in the regular management meeting chaired by the Head of Projects
* Management of safety, health, environmental and quality (SHEQ) matters for areas of direct responsibility, dealing with pre-construction and construction to close out, meeting all contractual requirements
* Monitoring use of resources to deliver the project safely to budget, programme, and contract requirements, assisting with the weekly and monthly internal and external reporting requirements, aiding in resolving any construction / design / commercial issues during scheme delivery, raising early warnings and compensation eventswith the client or contractors in a timely manner
* Liaise with other members of the Scheme Team, TfL client and third party stakeholders, chairing and attending regular progress meetings with client programme and project managers, being a part of monthly senior management meetings with the client and weekly internal management meetings
* Advising the client and designers on buildability of designs and ECI where instructed
What are we looking for?
This role of Delivery Manager is great for you if:
* You have a HNC or equivalent in Civil Engineering, hold SMSTS or SSSTS, can drive / hold a manual driving licence and have relevant London highways experience
* Good knowledge of the NEC form of contracts, TMAN, PAA / PA processes and DMRB & specification for highway works MCHW
* Proficient in putting people to work safely
