SEND Teacher

Salary: £160- £200 per day
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and compassionate SEND Teacher to join our team, supporting students with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging, tailored lessons and interventions that address each student’s individual needs, fostering their academic growth and personal development within an inclusive and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons and interventions tailored to meet the needs of students with SEND.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), working closely with students, parents, and support staff to set achievable goals.
Create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement, confidence, and independence.
Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed to support continuous improvement.
Collaborate with the SENDCo, teaching assistants, and other staff to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
Support and advise classroom teachers on effective SEND strategies and inclusive practices.
Maintain accurate records and reports on student progress and behavior, providing feedback to parents and relevant staff.
About You:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in SEND teaching.
Strong understanding of SEND best practices, including knowledge of relevant teaching techniques and assistive technologies.
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students with SEND thrive.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.
