We have an exciting new opportunity for a Data Center Installation & Commissioning Senior Field Service Engineer to join our team in Ireland. This position can be based anywhere in the UK, with frequent travel across the London area and EMEA will be required. What you'll do: As a Field Service Engineer you will work within local Country Service Unit, Cluster Service and EMEA level if required, mainly working in large data center projects. You will provide a first class service for the Eaton installed base products to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and loyalty. Responsible for installation, commissioning, fault finding and repairs. You will also offer support to the extended EMEA Service community through high level technical knowledge and experience in the field. Responsibilities: - Responsible for overseeing Data Centre commissioning, on behalf of Eaton Field Service in local service unit & as well as within the cluster or it EMEA level - Provide the highest level of technical expertise in all Hyperscale commissioning activities - Onboard, coach and mentor new Field Service Engineers that join Eaton - Manage key account technical escalations providing support including site visits, to engineers and customers alike, drive escalations to conclusion and provide feedback - Work closely with Project Managers, advising on commissioning considerations and assisting on selection of suitable engineers, carry out site visits - Assist Project Management Organization with support of high profile clients, providing technical advice and attending site visits - Maintain direct links with business units (factories) and act as focal point for all technical exchange regarding the commissioning procedures and testing - Manage sub contractor teams - Perform Health & Safety audits of Field Service Engineer and subcontractors Qualifications: - Education/qualifications in electrical field - 5-7 years of working with UPS systems in Data Center environment - Three phase electrical installation and commissioning experience essential - Good understanding of switch panels and power distribution would be advantage - Working knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, SNMP, OPC, DDE, TCP/IP would be an advantage Skills: - Communication skills - Customer Focus - Flexibility to travel across EMEA What we offer: - Competitive compensation and benefits package including Bonus, car, wellness allowance - Challenging projects in dynamic collaborative team - We make your aspirations matter - Eaton encourages internal promotion, whenever possible - We make your growth matter - We invest in our employees for the long term - not just with salary and benefits, but with ongoing learning and development opportunities made available through Eaton University We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for job applicants and employees.
