Job description
A minimum of 1 year Hotel Reception Experience required, preferably at a Supervisory/Management role.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the line management of the Reception team, acting as a main point of contact for Reception staff, offering support and providing mentoring/training, and implementing new Reception procedures. Further responsibilities will include:
1. Manage room reservations ensuring that the team processes all enquiries accurately.
2. Oversee the induction and training of receptionists.
3. Conduct appraisals and performance management of staff, including monthly meetings.
4. Produce, manage and operate the reception rota, checking future planned absences, planning cover and ensuring overtime is provided when necessary.
5. Help the hotel generate revenue through repeat business or generation of new leads, corporate clients, travel agents, etc.
6. Lead, monitor, motivate and inspire the team; providing guidance and support.
Salary dependable upon experience.
