Services Procurement Business Partner
Location: UK, Remote, with occasional travel to our London and Luton office.
The Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Services Procurement Business Partner to join our team. This role represents a chance to contribute to the ongoing development and success of our Services Procurement solution and to play an important part in the delivery of this service.
An integral part of our solution is to ensure we can offer customers extensive procurement and supply chain expertise across a multitude of categories. Advice will range from project definition and desired outcomes and assist with the selection and appointment of designated suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Customer stakeholder engagement
* Advice on capturing an effective SOW Specification of Requirements
* Identifying project outcomes and associated payment process
* Support on the best way to create an SOW approach that meets the needs of customers
* Selection of a supply chain of external providers capable of delivering project outcomes
* Measurement and evaluation of supplier proposals across a range of categories of supply
* Contribute to an open and constructive dialogue between us, the customers, and potential suppliers
* Management and evaluation of supplier proposals and appointment to the project
* Production of internal and customer management information
About You:
The role requires procurement experience from either a public or commercial sector environment. Equally important is category management expertise, ideally from a professional services or consultancy background, though other category experience may also be relevant.
* Good knowledge and understanding of procurement practice and principles
* Ability to engage and grow customer and supplier relationships
* Supply chain management experience aligned to varied categories of supply
* Ability to negotiate contracts
