SCP 3 12.80 per hour Hours Per Week: Casual various hours, term time only Base Location: Various locations throughout the Borough Assessment Date : To be arranged The Role The School Crossing Patrol Service is seeking reliable and conscientious people to work during school term time at specific times in the morning and evening peaks. These times are dependent on the individual schools start and finish times. The main duties are to stop traffic to enable school children to safely cross the road at the above crossing point. You will also be responsible for the safety of all persons who are crossing the road at the approved crossing point. About You You must be punctual, reliable, be able to work on your own initiative and enjoy working with children. You must also have a good awareness of traffic and be able to communicate effectively with pedestrians and other road users to ensure a safe environment.
