We currently have over 750 apprentices enrolled on our programmes. Alongside our apprenticeship training, we also offer a range of commercial training courses, designed to upskill existing workforces. We are the organising partner for the WorldSkills UK electronic security and fire competitions, which run each year. In 2023, we launched a company sponsorship programme, which has seen leading brand names in the sector come onboard to invest in our initiatives, designed to address the engineering skills gap within the sector. Skills for Security has enjoyed over 500% growth since 2019 and is owned by The Banks Foundation, set up by industry entrepreneur, Simon Banks, and the British Security Industry Association, the sectors leading trade association. We are aiming for continued growth and want to have 3000 apprentices on our programmes across the UK. Main description Due to significant growth, Skills for Security, the leading provider of apprenticeships to the Fire and Security sector, are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and passionate Apprenticeship Tutor, internally called Learner Skills Coach, on a full-time basis to support in the delivery of the Customer Service, Business Administration and Team Leader apprenticeship standards within our new Business 360 initiative. The Successful Applicant Will Be Responsible For The effective delivery of Customer Service, Business Administration and Team Leader apprenticeship standards through a blend of delivery styles including face to face, remote and workshops Ownership of caseload of circa 40 - 45 learners Supporting learners from initial enquiry through to End Point Assessment This role may require occasional travel to meet the needs of learners however most of the role can be conducted remotely. An ideal candidate would have demonstrable, practical experience of working within a management, senior administration and/or senior customer service role to aid impactful and engaging delivery. Requirements Demonstratable relevant experience in a suitable role (min 3 years) Experience of apprenticeship delivery preferred but not essential. Proven track record of working to KPI’s. Familiarisation with Microsoft Teams Be able to present information clearly to differing audiences. Hold as a minimum the following or be prepared to work towards: Award in Education and Training or equivalent. Some flexibility to liaise with learners outside of ‘usual’ work hours.
