As a Sales Lead for Accenture Song’s Health & Public Sector (H&PS) Client Group, you will play a pivotal role in expanding one of Accenture’s most innovative business units across these highly regulated and complex sectors.
We’re looking for a dynamic leader with deep experience across H&PS sectors, particularly in managing large, complex bids in health, government, and related fields. The Work:
Business Development
* Shape and execute the sales strategy for Accenture Song within the H&PS Client Group, targeting health services, public sector, and government industries.
* Achieve individual sales targets and support global goals by driving new business development and growing existing accounts, managing the pipeline, and ensuring accurate sales forecasts.
* Identify and capture new opportunities, using sales expertise to shape high-value deals. Oversee the entire deal cycle from qualification to negotiation and closing, ensuring they meet client needs and Accenture’s objectives.
* Lead large, complex bids in H&PS, often over $10m, engaging with C-suite leaders in health and public sector organizations to secure significant deals, acting as the lead for both single- and multi-service opportunities.
* Develop effective sales strategies, managing deal creation, value propositions, deal processes, and closures, with a focus on H&PS procurement requirements. Shape strategies to ensure deals are competitive, deliverable, and profitable.
* Lead negotiations for complex deals, developing win and close plans, coaching deal teams, and bringing in the right talent for successful outcomes.
* Collaborate with Account Management teams to enhance client relationships, drive innovation, and provide exceptional service across health and public sector industries.
* Create compelling deal visions through storytelling and deep client engagement, supporting strategy development and managing deals through the sales cycle, including team and work plan management.
* Work with Accenture leadership to navigate deals through approvals, ensuring they align with company goals and client needs.
Here’s What You Need:
* Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
* Extensive experience in Business Development, ideally within the Health & Public Sector or related industries.
* Strong experience of working on large, complex H&PS bids, including direct engagement with health services, government agencies, or public sector organizations.
* Strong client relationship management or delivery experience in a large, complex, matrixed organization, with a focus on health or public sector clients.

* Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and senior decision-makers in health and public sector organizations.

Travel Requirements:
* This position requires approximately 25% travel to various customer locations within the Health & Public Sector portfolio.
