Job Summary
Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (BCHC) are seeking to recruit a Bank Level 4 Catering Chef Manager for flexible working opportunities via Temporary Staffing to be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the catering service, to include retail, vending, and café services.
Main Duties
The role is to promote income generation for both the restaurant and the café services provided. This includes all function requests for in-house and external requests ensuring food and hygiene standards are met.
The Catering Chef Manager will plan and cost menus, orders, and supplies, being responsible for catering computerized systems and supporting up-to-date financial information.
This will require a flexible approach to their working day; to ensure service standards and expectations are met and sustained, e.g., overseeing weekends, evenings, and bank holidays.
