We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Support Worker to join our client’s dedicated and compassionate team in Banbury!

Your Role:
- Lead and supervise a team of support workers, ensuring person-centred care is consistently delivered.
- Work collaboratively with service users to create and regularly review personalised care plans that reflect their goals and preferences.
- Provide direct support with daily activities, such as personal care, mobility assistance, and participation in social or recreational activities.
- Ensure all care tasks comply with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Set an example by delivering care with empathy, dignity, and respect.
- Promote a safe, positive environment for both staff and service users, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Offer guidance, mentorship, and training to junior team members to help them thrive and develop in their roles.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with families and external agencies to deliver holistic, collaborative care.
What You’ll Bring:
- Previous experience in a Senior Support Worker role or a similar position within the care sector.
- A Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and manage a team.
- A deep passion for empowering individuals to live independently and achieve their goals.
- Solid knowledge of care standards, safeguarding practices, and health and safety regulations.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, fostering trust with service users, families, and professionals.
- Flexibility and resilience to adapt to a dynamic care environment.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, or complex needs.
- A proactive mindset and excellent problem-solving abilities.
- A commitment to personal and professional growth through ongoing training.
