The role: Have proven experience in teaching Humanities in a secondary SEN school. Have proven themselves as a good or outstanding secondary teacher with an excellent record of classroom practice. Drive to raise standards, progress, and attainment, with an excellent understanding of assessment for learning. Support the development of a curriculum through their own subject knowledge, passion for teaching and relentless drive for securing the best academic achievements for our children. Delivering creative and engaging lessons To contribute to the delivery and development of the curriculum, having regard to the educational, physical and social needs of the students within a learning environment. To oversee provision maps, adding to use short-, medium- and long-term plans in delivering adaption and intervention in the school curriculum. To set, monitor and review personalised targets that will optimise learning for each individual. To organise the review of EHC plans, PEP and LAC reviews.
