Based in Braintree, my client is a leading provider of technology to the hospitality sector. They provide a wide range of technology including robot waiters, facial verification, mobile apps, EPoS and payment solutions.
They now seek an organised and detail orientated Data Entry / Systems Administrator to join their team. Your role will be to manage crucial data and ensure seamless coordination between the customer base and the point of sale (POS) technology systems. You will be a key member of the team and play a vital role in maintaining accurate records, optimising data workflow and contributing to the overall efficiency of customer operations.
Responsibilities
1. Accurately input and maintain customer orders, menu items, pricing and other relevant data into the POS system
2. Update and verify customer information, ensuring data integrity
3. Perform routine data quality checks to identify and rectify errors or inconsistencies
4. Collaborate with the customer base to maintain and troubleshoot their POS systems
5. Assist in configuring and customising the POS system to meet the needs of our customers businesses
6. Ensure the POS system is up to date with the latest software updates and security patches
7. Generate reports relating to sales, inventory and customer trends
8. Provide insights to management to support decision making
