This would be on an initial temporary basis, but with a view to a permanent role once NHS England have confirmed funding for these ARRS roles for 2025/26. The role may require you to work within our Enhanced Access set up on evenings and weekends and therefore a level of flexibility is required. Main duties of the job All general duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care: Undertaking a variety of duties including surgery face to face consultations, telephone consultations and queries, visiting patients at home, prescription administration and management, general administration ( referrals, pathology, reports, correspondence ) in a timely fashion, ensuring high quality care. Making professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting medical problems, whether self-referred or referred from other healthcare workers within the organisation. Assessing the healthcare needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems. Screening patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness. Developing care plans for health in consultation with patients and in line with current practice disease management protocols. Providing health education. Contribute to optimise PCN Investment and Impact Fund ( quality improvement markers) Recording clear consultation notes to agreed standards. Collecting data for audit purposes and complying with QOF requirements. Delivering enhanced services. Compiling and issuing computer-generated acute and repeat prescriptions. We have a history of working together to build a better service for our population, ensuring services are safe, accessible and of the highest quality. This shared approach is allowing us to rapidly build on the pro-active care model we have been developing as part of the Care-Coordination Act as One programme in Bradford District and Craven.
