About the History Teacher Role We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated History Teacher to join our successful History department. The successful History Teacher will have the opportunity to teach History to Key Stage 3 and 4 students, inspiring them with a passion for the past and developing their understanding of the world. Responsibilities of the History Teacher: Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated History lessons that cater to a range of learning styles. Create a supportive and stimulating learning environment where students feel confident to explore History and develop their critical thinking skills. Assess and monitor student progress in History, providing constructive feedback and support. Contribute to the development of the History curriculum and departmental resources. Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ensure the highest standards of History teaching. Participate in school events and activities that promote the Christian ethos of the school. Qualifications and Experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. A degree in History or a related field. Experience teaching History at the secondary level. A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for History.
