Swanage Town Council has adopted an ambitious plan to deliver good governance, support the local economy, improve health and wellbeing, address the climate crisis and plan for the future whilst preserving our precious heritage. This is a critical role that will ensure delivery of a wide variety of projects and initiatives in support of these objectives. Working alongside the management team across the Council’s diverse range of services, you will also be responsible for leading related community engagement activities, liaising with key partners and stakeholders.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with experience of project delivery and communications in a community setting. A flexible and proactive approach is essential, as are sound decision-making skills and the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
The postholder will be automatically enrolled into the Local Government Pension Scheme and there is the opportunity for flexible working arrangements, including significant home working.
