ICC Senior Hub Coordinator: Emergency Secondment opportunity
Eden ICC is looking for an experienced administrator who can confidently manage staff and navigate health care systems. You will work alongside the ICC Service Manager to manage the day-to-day running of the ICC Hub as well as implement service improvements. You will also be responsible for staff rostering to ensure adequate service coverage during agreed opening hours, as well as identifying training needs and ensuring that training and staff development are carried out. You will be responsible for ensuring systems and processes are in place to triage referrals in line with Standard Operating Procedures, while supporting the ICC Hub Team to identify those referrals in need of an immediate response and direct these referrals to the appropriate clinician.
You will be required to work alongside a number of key stakeholders to ensure that all patient referrals are dealt with in a timely manner and where appropriate, patients are signposted to other services.
You will be required to be flexible and provide cross-cover for other ICC Hubs. This may require working in different ICC Hubs as and when required.
Applicants should discuss their interest in a secondment with their line manager and seek their approval before pursuing the opportunity. This is a three-month secondment opportunity which may be extended.

Part-time hours considered Monday to Friday 08:00 – 18:30. You will also be on a roster for weekend working 08:00 – 16:00.

Experience
* Experience of managing staff and systems
* Experience of working under pressure and to time constraints adapting to an ever-changing environment
* Ideally previous experience working in health or social care services
* Customer Service Training
Qualifications
* The post holder will be educated to GCSE/ ‘A’ level or equivalent.
* ECDL or equivalent
Knowledge
* Competent with internet and email.
* Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
* Knowledge and understanding of health and social care terminology.
* Experience of using EMIS, ICE, Liquid Logic, STRATA.
* Improvement skills (or be willing to attend training and development as appropriate).
* Excellent telephone skills for dealing with calls to refer individuals to ICC Service from a variety of agencies.
* To be friendly, tactful, articulate, sympathetic and self-motivated.
* Ability to communicate with staff and individuals using services at all levels.
* Committed to values of NHS and Social Care and recognition of the importance of delivering care that is centred on the needs of individuals.
