Conveyancing Assistant – Oldham Douglas Scott is recruiting for an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join an established law firm in Oldham. Role Overview: You will support Fee Earners in all aspects of Residential Conveyancing, handling tasks with minimal supervision. Your responsibilities will include: Providing quotes to clients via an online portal. Opening, managing, and closing files using a case management system. Liaising with estate agents, solicitors, mortgage brokers, and clients. Preparing contract packs and drafting SDLT returns. Handling post-completion tasks (AP1s, requisitions, notice of transfer/charge). General administrative support, including correspondence and telephone calls. Requirements: Experience with Case Management systems and client interaction. Strong organisational and time management skills. High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
