Atlas Workplace Services is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Buyer to join our Commercial team. This critical role will support our operational departments, including Projects, Life Cycle, and Service Charge, by delivering on our procurement strategy. As a Senior Buyer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our supply chain is efficient, cost-effective, and compliant, while also driving up standards and seeking out innovative solutions that enhance our competitive edge. This is a hybrid working role with a minimum of 3 days in our Milton Keynes office and 2 days working from home. Key Responsibilities: Supply Chain Management: Review, rationalise, and enhance the current supply chain to meet business requirements. Select suppliers and subcontractors that are efficient, cost-effective, and compliant, ensuring they meet the high standards expected by Atlas Workplace Services. Performance Monitoring: Manage and monitor supplier performance, driving up standards and ensuring adherence to compliance through regular communication. Procurement Activities: Lead tender and contract renewal activities, from initial procurement through to post-mobilisation of new contracts. Benchmarking: Regularly benchmark category and material costs to ensure best value is achieved at all times. Cost Reduction: Identify opportunities to reduce supply chain costs and enhance the self-delivery of M&E tasks. Innovation: Seek opportunities for added value and innovative solutions to enhance supply chain efficiency. Compliance & Reporting: Provide the interface for delivering procurement outputs, ensuring transparency in processes. Work on carbon reduction and sustainability programmes within the supply chain and report on progress. About You Minimum Qualifications, Certifications, and Training Required: GCSE qualifications or equivalent. CIPS Diploma or equivalent experience. Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: 3-5 years of procurement experience in an FM environment. Proven experience working to tight deadlines and managing stakeholders across all levels. Strong negotiation skills with subcontractors and material suppliers. Demonstrated ability to drive down costs while increasing supplier performance.
