Key Tasks Promote an open culture, leading on reporting of incidents and risk reporting and take action on the lessons learnt. Ensure staff understand, accept and effectively respond to identified trends from complaints and concerns, working with the relevant members of the Senior Management Team (SMT). Represent Mountbatten at local and regional meetings and events as required. Act as the Mountbatten champion for patient safety and user involvement to ensure that patient related issues and safety risks are identified and managed to achieve the highest levels of patient safety, experience and positive risk taking. Support the Director of Quality, Data and Information and Director of Nursing and clinical Team Leaders by leading and co-ordinating the compilation of the necessary evidence that demonstrates improvements in clinical care and clinical outcomes, learning from clinical risk matters and positive service changes. Responsible for patient safety incident reporting framework (PSIRIF) and other information from patient safety and experience issues in order to understand and disseminate lessons learned. ~~~Please refer to the attached Job Description and Person Specification for the full duties and responsibilities of this role~~~
