Responsibilities:
Provide appropriate technical support, help and advice to staff and students.
Escalate IT issues initially to the Senior IT Services Technician in a timely manner.
Ensure tasks are logged on the IT Helpdesk and processed effectively and efficiently.
Diagnose and resolve 1st line issues.
Provide AV support including filming, video editing, and equipment setups.
Set up new PCs, laptops, iPads, and install software.
Maintain the digital signage across the college as required.
Manage day-to-day email tasks such as creating aliases, mailboxes, and distribution groups.
Manage user accounts and permissions on network resources.
Maintain printers and consumables, logging any issues and orders where required.
Ensure IT equipment and resources are available to staff and students when required.
Regularly check the IT suites.
Log repairs and warranty claims.
Maintain an up-to-date asset register for all computer hardware and software.
Perform basic administrative support duties as required to meet specific operational objectives.
Provide assistance to the Head of IT Services when required.
Provide support and knowledge transfer to other members of the IT Services Team, if applicable.
Ensure a high level of customer service and support is provided to all stakeholders.
Skills Required:
* Proficient in Windows Operating Systems & Microsoft Office, including Office 365.
* Hardware maintenance.
* Configuration and installation of software packages.
