HR Manager – Driving Growth and Shaping the Future
Location: Leatherhead, UK (Hybrid)
Salary: Negotiable
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

As our business continues to grow, we are expanding our HR function from part-time to full-time. We are looking for a forward-thinking, strategic HR Manager who can help drive our ambitious growth and put in place the procedures and development strategies we need for the future.
This role is perfect for someone who is proactive, innovative, and ready to challenge existing processes to create a best-in-class HR function. You will work across learning and development, recruitment, employee relations, HR administration, and compliance while also supporting our ISO 9001 and pharma-GMP quality systems.
Key Responsibilities
Learning & Development
* Lead the company’s training and development strategy to enhance employee skills, leadership, and compliance.
* Collaborate with department heads to create tailored learning programs, including training on ISO 9001 and pharma-GMP standards.
* Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
* Partner with hiring managers to attract, assess, and secure top talent.
* Manage recruitment processes, including interviews and external agency coordination.
* Ensure compliance with hiring procedures and right-to-work regulations.
Employee Relations & Engagement
* Support managers in fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture.
* Lead employee engagement initiatives to enhance retention and workplace satisfaction.
* Provide HR guidance and support to employees and leadership.
HR Administration & Compliance
* Maintain HR records and generate reports for the Managing Director.
* Oversee payroll administration and ensure compliance with employment laws.
* Manage HR systems, including BreatheHR, employee handbooks, and policy documentation.
* Support the annual salary review process.
Quality & Continuous Improvement
* Ensure HR processes align with ISO 9001 and pharma-GMP compliance.
* Drive HR-related improvements in performance and efficiency.
* Identify and implement new policies and initiatives that support the business’s growth.
Required Experience & Skills
* Proven experience in HR management, recruitment, training, and employee relations.
* Strong understanding of employment law, HR best practices, and compliance.
* Experience developing and implementing learning and development strategies.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across the business.
* A proactive, solutions-driven mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
