As a Function Co-ordinator at Sodexo in Worthy Down Barracks, Winchester, you will assist with organising, planning and billing of the functions. You will also assist in setting up and delivering functions and hospitality. You'll interact with our Armed Forces personnel every day, improving quality of life for all that you meet.
What you’ll do:
* Responsible for function bookings and day-to-day catering requests.
* Assist with organising, planning, and billing of the functions.
* Assist with setting up functions and hospitality.
* Assist in delivering functions and hospitality.
* Responsible for managing cashing of cheques and balancing all monies daily.
* Provision of casual Mess bills according to Sodexo and customer/client procedures.
* Greet all Mess guests and deal with any queries as required.
* Answer telephone and distribute messages to relevant parties.
* Receive, sort, and distribute mail as required.
* Carry out administration duties and clerical assistance to the Mess manager as required.
* Provide support for any additional ad-hoc services provided as required, for example, administrative or office support.
What you bring:
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Experience of working within a military environment.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft applications.
