Requirements
1. Appropriate degree, with UK PGCE or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - this is essential
2. Eligibility to work in the UK is essential
3. An enhanced DBS on the update service - this is essential
4. Minimum of 3 Months teaching experience in the UK.
5. Familiarity with the national curriculum
6. Passionate about history and humanities education.
7. Exhibit confidence with humility
8. Kind, compassionate and considerate with an international and growth mindset.
9. Experience conducting original research using primary and secondary sources, with a proven ability to navigate archives, libraries, and other research institutions
10. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities
16. Plan and prepare well-structured, clearly presented lessons appropriate to the abilities of all students and the syllabus being taught
17. Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to accommodate diverse learning needs and engage students.
18. Generate enthusiasm for the subject being taught and inspire all students to work to their potential
19. Provide effective feedback to further student learning, instigating reteaching strategies when required
20. Analyse and interpret historical data and use it to draw conclusions, make predictions, and inform organisational decisions.
21. Organise and maintain records and collections of historical documents, artefacts, and other materials, ensuring their preservation and accessibility.
22. Develop educational and outreach programs for students, visitors, etc to engage them in the study of history and the importance of preserving historical records.
