We are excited to be recruiting for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join an expanding local business on a temporary to permanent basis, based in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.
Supporting the Finance Manager, typical duties include:
* Balance Sheet Reconciliations
* P&L Nominal Codes
* Check postings are correct
* Support with month end reporting
* Assist with producing management accounts
* Input payroll information - including management of time and attendance system
* Other adhoc duties to support the team
Applications are invited from individuals with the following experience:
Part qualified or qualified by experience
Previous experience of working as an Assistant Accountant is essential
Able to work with minimal supervision
IT Literate, Microsoft Excel experience is essential
Team player with a flexible attitude
This is a part time role, ideally working Monday - Friday 9 -3 (There is flexibility on days/hours), with the potential to become a permanent role after the first 3 months.
