We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering and manufacturing company in Middlesbrough, seeking a proactive Technical Administrator to support their operations and MRP system. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong admin experience—ideally in an engineering environment—looking to build a long-term career with a growing business. Responsibilities: Create Bills of Material from technical drawings and parts lists Generate Sales Order numbers for stock contracts Create pick lists for Stores and Manufacturing departments Advise the Purchasing team on contract part requirements Close down works orders for items ready for delivery Maintain the internal parts database Assist and provide cover for the MRP System Administrator Carry out general administrative tasks within the operations department Support various duties within an engineering office setting What We’re Looking For: Proven experience in an administrative or technical admin role (engineering background preferred) Strong computer skills and confidence working with data systems and Microsoft Office Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities Familiarity with MRP systems and bills of materials is highly desirable Benefits: 25 days holiday 8 statutory days Life protection (4x salary) upon joining the pension scheme 5% employer pension contribution (5% employee) Free on-site parking Company events Employee discounts Sick pay Referral programme Other information: Middlesbrough Permanent, Full-Time (Office-Based) Competitive salary, dependent on experience Monday to Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm, Friday 8:30am-1:30pm
