Job Description
* Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes including but not limited to: A/P, A/R, payroll, journal entries and bank reconciliations.
* Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for 1 business entity.
* Support management accounts related to 1 key business entity.
* Coordinate with the finance team to complete assigned accounting tasks within deadlines.
* Handle ledgers and daily transactions for the Purchase Ledger.
* Monitor financial transactions and reports.
* Implement and adhere to the company's or department's financial policies and procedures.
* Attend finance department and company-wide meetings, assisting with financial reporting to managers and senior executives.
* Communicate with the team to manage and coordinate accounting functions.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Bookkeeper / Assistant Accountant should have:
* Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices.
* Proficiency in necessary technology, including Microsoft Office, databases and software (good level of Excel ability).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work with a team and independently when required.
