Role and Responsibilities: As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in their London office, contributing to high-profile projects and leading the design and implementation of electrical systems. Your key responsibilities will include: Leading the design and specification of electrical systems for various building types, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Managing and mentoring junior engineers, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions that meet client requirements. Conducting site inspections and surveys to inform design decisions and ensure project quality. Preparing detailed technical reports, calculations, and documentation. Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure effective communication and project delivery. Staying updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Professional registration (CEng or equivalent) is highly desirable. Proven experience in electrical design within the building services sector. Strong knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design tools. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
