Job Advert Description
Priory Hospital Norwich is a 34 bedded acute mental health hospital which opened in 2020 across 3 wards situated in the town of Attleborough, with a PICU opening in summer 2025. The role of Quality Administrator is to be part of an excellent multidisciplinary team to support the hospital to run efficiently. Priory Hospital Norwich ensures that we put our patients at the centre of everything we do. We are a busy acute unit aiming to offer a high standard of care and deliver great outcomes for patients.
Job Responsibilities
1. Support a patient safety culture and promote learning from incidents and complaints.
2. Support with investigations and reviews, including serious incidents, thematic reviews, whistleblowing, and complaints, ensuring reports are submitted within the given timescales and in accordance with policies.
3. Monitor patient experience across the site, review themes, and support changes to practice and policy in response to this.
4. Work with the Senior Management Team to review service improvement plans and quality performance indicators, assisting in having an agreed set of objectives with SMART measures.
5. Ensure robust recording, monitoring, and tracking of CQC notifications, 24/72hr reports, and TIR/SI reviews.
6. Co-ordinate responses to patient complaints in accordance with Complaints Policy.
7. Ensure these plans are reviewed, escalating concerns where improvement isn’t occurring in a timely way.
8. Assist with providing analysis, thematic review, and internal benchmarking in collaboration with colleagues and clinical networks.
9. Contribute to the Clinical Audit and Policy development and implementation; this includes embedding of learning, implementation of standards, and ensuring that improvement is sustained.
10. Ensure that work is collaborative and in accordance with company and divisional values and behaviours at all times.
11. Assist with ensuring appropriate quality and safety continuous improvement in all areas for the people who use our services, ensuring services are consistently high quality to avoid fluctuations in quality and achieve a self-sustaining culture leading to better cost and clinical effectiveness.
12. Prepare quality reports as and when required.
13. Lead the organisation of the site Clinical Governance meeting.
14. Use existing data systems and reports to support the site in improving patient experience and safety.
15. Provide cover and support to the wider team and site as and when needed.
