To support our ongoing business growth, we have an opportunity for an experienced Service/Finishing Engineer to join our team in Kendal, covering in and around the Lake District. This role will have a company vehicle and fuel card supplied for business use.

Role Responsibilities
1. Resolve issues with our windows, doors, bi-folds, orangeries, and conservatories.
2. Provide excellent customer service while at customers' properties.
3. Ensure that all visits are completed on the first visit.
4. Deliver excellent quality work and ensure quality is maintained at all times.
5. Support the Engineering team in resolving any issues as required.
6. Maintain a positive customer experience score.
7. Possess strong knowledge and experience of site Health and Safety.
8. Demonstrate extremely high standards of work.
9. Drive to achieve deadlines and deliver quality work right the first time.
Person Attributes
1. Previous experience in all aspects of window, door, and bi-fold fitting, including conservatories and orangeries.
2. Ability to fit miscellaneous hardware or fittings such as handles, hinges, glazing, letterboxes, etc.
3. Excellent product knowledge with good problem-solving skills and the ability to identify cost-efficient solutions.
4. Good customer service skills with a calm and polite approach when dealing with dissatisfied customers.
5. A clean driving license.
6. Ability to work independently and use initiative.
7. Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
8. A self-motivated individual with a can-do approach to work, capable of completing tasks within required timescales.
A willingness to undertake further training with the ability to implement learning into daily work is essential.
