Chef de Partie - Fleet - Term time only, No weekends - £15.50
Are you a Chef looking for a new opportunity within the contract catering industry that can provide you with a great work / life balance?
We are currently looking for a Chef for our catering site based in Fleet.
Key Information:
1. Salary: £15.50 per hour
2. Hours: 7am - 3pm, 8hrs per day, 40hrs per week, Term time only - 2/3 Saturdays per year
3. Location: Fleet
4. Contract: Permanent
Key Responsibilities of the role include:
1. Provide a friendly catering service, performing a variety of manual tasks associated with food production and service in the school
2. Preparation, cooking and presentation of food to agreed standards.
3. Help with preparation of food items and maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of kitchen
4. Work alongside the kitchen team
Required skills include:
1. A strong understanding of produce and ingredients
2. Experience of a variety of kitchen environments and cuisines
3. Knowledge of food production methods
4. Embrace new ideas and processes
5. Positive and approachable manner
In order to be successful, you'll need to have:
1. Experience as a Chef, working in a similar environment
2. Ability to follow instructions
3. High Standards of hygiene
