This position is for working Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursdays - 07:30 - 17:30.
Apple Trees, Ofsted Rated 'Good' in June 2024, is a nursery that opened in September 2022. With the new funding coming in April and September 2024, we have seen a large intake of children, which ultimately leads to hiring more staff.
With this all in mind, we are looking to hire a passionate qualified early years practitioner who is looking for a new challenge and opportunity. We are looking for someone who wishes to grow with us as we expand, as we love providing opportunities to those that wish to join us on our journey.
We have two baby rooms along with a toddler room, and we are looking for a practitioner and room lead for either room.
We understand not everyone can work 40-hour weeks and have other commitments. We are flexible employers and allow flexible working.
Your role will include:
* Supporting and extending children’s learning, development, and educational outcomes
* Organising and overseeing the planning, implementation, and provision of activities
* Carrying out observations and evaluations
* Planning and providing next steps to support children’s development
* Promoting best practice in the nursery
You will ideally have:
* A Level 2 or 3 Nursery Nurse qualification
* An understanding of the EYFS and key worker systems
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
* Experience working with children under 2
