AOT is an incredible team to work in with a stable workforce; hence why this opportunity is so rare. The team brings clinical excellence, compassion, and professionalism to everything they touch and provides their Service Users with the best care and treatment possible in often very difficult and challenging situations.
The Team provides a traditional old school approach to Assertive Outreach based on the model developed from the Mental Health Policy Implementation Guide published in 2001, providing Psychosocial Interventions to Service Users in their own homes.
Main duties of the job
You will provide clinical and managerial leadership to the Assertive Outreach Team, holding your own small but complex caseload and providing live supervision, guidance, and support for the team's clinical staff while providing psychosocial interventions to service users. You will be expected to lead and support the implementation of any needed recommendations from the CQC Special review of Notts mental health trust.
You will need to be kind, compassionate, and organized; a sense of humor and resilience is a must as you will form strong relationships with Service Users who can be challenging but are ultimately rewarding to work with. You will represent the Assertive Outreach Team at Local, Regional, and National meetings and be an advocate for the team and for the service model.
