I am delighted to be partnering with a leading international professional services firm in Manchester to help them recruit an HR Manager. Salary is up to £50K+ benefits and hybrid working of 3 days on site is being offered.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide all support to the HR team for the Northern Region (350+ employees).
2. Report into the HR Director with dotted lines to Executive Directors in Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow, and Sheffield.
3. Cover all operational HR activity, providing expert advice and guidance to directors and line managers on best practice, complex case work, planning, management, and support on consultation activities.
4. Support and coach line managers on capability performance and sickness absence.
5. Ensure effective employee relations matters such as probationary reviews, disciplinary, and grievance investigations are dealt with.
6. Act as a key point of contact for people, policy, and process improvement.
7. Support the HR Director in implementing company-wide change and delivering the HR strategy across the North.
Minimum Requirements:
1. CIPD Level 7 qualified.
2. Extensive background as an HR Manager in an operational role within a Professional Services environment.
3. Demonstrated extensive employee relations experience with the ability to identify risk and provide sustainable solutions.
4. Experience working within a complex matrix structure, ideally within a partnership business.
5. Strong attention to detail and ability to influence others and make strategic decisions.
6. Hands-on and flexible approach with excellent communication skills and generalist HR ability.
