Job Overview: We are seeking skilled and experienced HGV Technicians to join our client’s depot in Witham. The successful candidates will be responsible for MOT preparation, diagnosing, repairing, servicing, and maintaining heavy goods vehicles to a high standard. The role requires a high regard for quality workmanship and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Perform MOT preparation, repairs, diagnostics, servicing, and maintenance of heavy goods vehicles. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in a timely manner. Write up job cards concisely and accurately. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Qualifications: Qualified at NVQ level 3 or equivalent in heavy vehicles. Experienced in all aspects of heavy vehicle maintenance and repair. High regard for producing quality workmanship. Ability to work in a high-paced environment. Own tool kit. Able to write up job cards concisely. Current car driving licence (HGV & PSV licences are desirable but not essential). IRTEC qualification is desirable but not essential. Working Pattern: 48 hr week Rotating (Mon-Thurs/Tues-Fri/Mon-Thurs/Tues-Fri) 6 pm-6:30 am Overtime paid (time & half) Benefits: Competitive salary ranging from £39,000 to £45,000.
