Job Summary
This role is fixed term for 18 months (Until November 2026), working 37.5 hours per week.

Main Duties of the Job
* Support the Data Quality Team in ensuring data held across the Trust contains accurate and reliable information.
* Contribute to providing an efficient and high-quality service for ensuring accurate source data.
* Support the Data Improvement Manager in raising awareness across the Trust for the need for timely and accurate quality data.
Job Responsibilities
* Support the Trust in meeting the data requirements of clinicians, hospital managers, commissioners, and Trust Board.
* Monitor and promote data quality throughout the Trust, improving areas of concern.
* Develop detailed and precise Data Quality guidance documents for trust-wide dissemination.
* Work as part of the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) programme to ensure accurate patient-related data.
* Adapt and improve local systems and procedures around data collection/input, audit, and analysis.
* Provide support to the Data Quality Improvement Manager, and stand-in as required.
Person Specification
Experience and Knowledge
Essential
* Minimum of 2 years office experience
* Awareness of current NHS issues
* Experience of working with a wide range of staff at all levels
* Proven success at delivering against objectives and deadlines
Desirable
* Experience of PAS/EPR (Lorenzo/Cerner)
* Experience/ involvement in Data Quality activities (e.g. validation or audit)
* Understanding of NHS analytical tools
Qualifications
Essential
* Educated to GCSE level within Maths and English
* Evidence of continuing personal development
* Willingness to undergo further training
Desirable
* NVQ level 3
* ECDL Qualification or equivalent
Skills and Abilities
Essential
* Ability to communicate sensitive and complex information
* Ability to work in a demanding environment and achieve tight deadlines
* Ability to analyse data and manipulate large datasets
* Proactive in improving own skills
Desirable
* Strong understanding of NHS data flows
* Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft packages
