We are looking for a full-time Consultant/Trainer to join our friendly Professional Services team, at our Head Office based in Grantham.
Being a well-established and successful brand in the UK ERP software and services market, we deliver thousands of hours of consultancy and training services to both new and existing customers each year. This can be in the form of implementation of our software solutions to enhance the knowledge of how best to use our market leading software solution.
Day-to-day tasks required of this role:
1. Delivering consultative services, both in person and/or remotely, (to a very high standard). Ensuring the customer is guided on set up, how to use, resolving and addressing all aspects of the system, as designed and implemented.
2. Delivering both dynamic and structured training courses, both in person and/or remotely, to a very high standard, ensuring the customer is well versed in all aspects of each course.
3. Working to a project plan and recording activities logs.
4. Introducing new and enhancing training course material, to ensure it is up to date with our software solution and continues to be engaging with our customers.
5. Support internal training processes are up to date, to ensure the Training Department runs smoothly.
6. Providing ad hoc training and Sales Support activities, such as demonstration, on request.
7. Dealing with customers questions and queries as they arise on site and remotely.
8. Collate implementation issues and change requests and escalate to line management as they arise and in line with our implementation methodology.
Key attributes and experience we are looking for in order to excel in this role:
1. At least 3 years in previous software training or consultancy roles.
2. Training certification and/or Prince II/ITIL standards would be advantageous.
3. Fully proficient using IT in general, particularly in using Microsoft Office and other software packages.
4. SQL skills would be advantageous, but not essential.
5. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
6. Creative and self-driven with a strong work ethic.
7. Work to deadlines and recording activities using timesheet apps.
8. A team player with an enthusiastic approach.
9. Ability and confidence to deal with all stakeholders in the business, including other team leaders, customers, and senior management.
10. Access to a car and UK driving licence.
