They are seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Service Engineer to join their expanding team.
Role Overview:
As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing heavy plant equipment to ensure optimal performance. You will work on-site at customer locations, delivering exceptional service that upholds the companies reputation in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on a range of heavy plant equipment, including excavators, wheel loaders, and other machinery.
Conduct routine maintenance and preventive servicing to minimise equipment downtime.
Provide technical support and advice to customers to optimise machine efficiency.
Complete detailed service reports and communicate findings to the service manager and customers.
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and procedures during field operations.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of equipment and technology advancements. Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience working with heavy plant equipment (e.g., excavators, wheel loaders).
Strong technical knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems in heavy machinery.
Proven ability to diagnose and repair complex equipment issues.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and adapt to a variety of on-site conditions.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required. What's On Offer?
Base Salary £42,000 - £48,000, dependant on experience.
40 Hour contract, Monday to Friday.
Regular overtime, enhanced hourly rate. Current engineers earning in excess of £60,000 per year.
