Job Opportunity: Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP)
Location: Leatherhead, Reigate, Tandridge, Woking, Runnymede, Waverly, and Guildford (1 vacancy per team)
Salary: £46,399 - £49,588 per annum + £3,000 market supplement (pro rata for part-time)
Hours: Full-time (36 hours per week) or Part-time positions available

What You’ll Do
As an AMHP, you’ll play a key role in carrying out statutory duties under the Mental Health Act and the Care Act. Depending on the team, you’ll either undertake AMHP assessments full-time or assist individuals, carers, and families in creating care plans that promote independence, leveraging a strength-based, community-driven approach.
About You
* You hold a Professional Qualification in Social Work
* You can maintain personal AMHP status (Warranted)
* You have post-qualifying experience, including work with individuals with mental health needs
* You possess a solid understanding of mental health legislation and care planning
* You are committed to continuous professional development
* You hold a valid UK driving license and are willing to travel
