Warehouse Team Leader
Reports To: Depot Manager
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £27,000–£29,000 (DOE)
Location: Enfield, North London
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, shift-based (5 days out of 7, 7.5 hours between 07:00 and 19:00)

As a Warehouse Team Leader, you’ll play a key role in overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations, managing a team of staff and volunteers, and ensuring the efficient handling of stock, all while supporting a meaningful mission.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team to run a chilled and ambient food warehouse.
Build and maintain strong relationships with community organisations.
Use the Warehouse Management System effectively to manage stock.
Handle physical stock movement using pallet trucks or by hand.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment.
Conduct daily briefings with staff and volunteers to outline priorities.
Perform regular stock counts and ensure proper handling of product recalls.
Problem-solve operational issues promptly.
Oversee Goods In, Warehouse Management, and Goods Out processes.
Ensure Health and Safety regulations are adhered to by all team members.
Plan delivery routes and coordinate schedules.
Train and support staff and volunteers.Location
This role is based at the Enfield depot, with occasional travel to other locations as required.
Candidate Profile
We’re looking for a proactive, organised, and people-focused leader with a passion for making a difference. A background in warehousing or similar operational roles is ideal, but we’re open to training motivated candidates with strong interpersonal and organisational skills.

Ability to drive a van confidently.
Full UK driving licence (minimum 1 year, no more than 6 points).
