As Senior Embedded Software Engineer you will play a crucial role delivering complex engineering projects. You will bring your expertise to design, develop and oversee the implementation of embedded systems and components. You will work closely with cross-functional teams driving innovation in the EV charging industry and help mentor a small team of engineers, whilst ensuring the successful execution of projects.
Responsibilities:
* Support and oversee the development of embedded software-based control systems, ensuring they meet project specifications, safety standards and regulatory requirements.
* Assist the software team, scheduling, and co-ordinating tasks, including managing budgets and resources effectively.
* Prepare detailed technical documentation, including specifications, schematics, and design reports, ensuring the documentation is comprehensive, accurate and organised.
* Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with embedded software designs of each project.
Key Requirements:
* Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Embedded Software engineering or a related field.
* Experience of automotive, aerospace, or similar safety-critical development environment.
* You will be a competent user of embedded C.
* Experience of Infineon Aurix and ARM Cortex-M micro-controllers.
* Experience with RTOS and the full lifecycle of software development.
* Experience of ASPICE, MISRA C and AUTOSAR coding guidelines.
* Knowledge of Parasoft C/C++ test would be beneficial.
* Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
* Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills.
