Your new role
Within the role of HR Officer, you will join the team as a CIPD-accredited human resources officer. Key elements of this role will include employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, L&D andHR administration. The full scope of the role will include -
* Recruitment: Working closely with hiring managers, managing the recruitment processes end to end;
* Induction: Management of our company induction programme and working closely with the HR Team and site teams to track, plan and monitor effectiveness
* Onboarding, induction and managing annual review processes.
* L&D agenda - managing the on-the-job training
* HR Data Analytics: Track and report on HR metrics on a weekly basis to the HR function and Senior Leadership Team, including absenteeism, probations, performance etc;
* Performance management: absenteeism, probations and under-performance issues;
* HR Systems: Maintenance and updating of HR systems to ensure employee data is up-to-date and that the information is available to support business planning and decision-making;
* HR Administration: successful management of all aspects of HR Administration;
* Engagement and Communications: Support company-wide events that include social, charity and corporate social responsibility.
* Participating in internal HR projects and implementations
* Payroll support
What you'll need to succeed
This position wouldsuit a person with recent and relevant experience in a similar HR role. The idealcandidate will have:
* Experience in HR operations
* Demonstrable experience of recruitment and onboarding
* Knowledge of providing payroll support
* Strong administration skills
* Confidentiality at all times and operate in a discreet and professional manner.
* Strong computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Visio (desirable)
* Have a result-driven, customer-focused, and collaborative-team-focused mindset;
* Excellent relationship-building, presentation and communications skills;
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build credible relationships at all levels in the organisation and with external stakeholders.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* The ability to work independently, to demonstrate initiative and to work as part of a team.
* CIPD qualification Level 3 is preferred
