Our client, based in Houghton Le Spring, is looking for a Maintenance Fitter to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis.
Hours of work would be Monday to Friday 08.00am-4.00pm (40 hours).
Salary - up to £35,000 depending upon experience.
Duties will include:
1. Engineering duties; stripping, cleaning and rebuilding fans and pumps
2. Fitting ladder racks and cable containment
3. Stripping down machinery and relocating it
4. Daily planned maintenance
5. Assisting with breakdowns
6. Alongside Maintenance duties there will also be days where labouring is required, such as moving equipment within the factory and housekeeping duties
Requirements:
1. Maintenance and/or Fitting background
2. Comfortable with heavy lifting
3. Problem solving skills
4. Safety awareness
