Due to our continued ongoing success, we are seeking to appoint a Security Team Leader.
As a Security Team Leader, you will operate across our stores utilising your skills to help prevent theft of stock. The work of the Security Team Leader is crucial in the identification, apprehension and prosecution of criminals who target our stores.
This role entails leading a target team of covert and uniform security personnel across your area of responsibility. You will deliver training and development of your security team through our LP training academy ensuring they are effectively deployed to our high-risk stores to identify and apprehend offenders for theft, while always being professional when dealing with conflict.
You will also support our retail colleagues by training and developing them in Loss Prevention activity and department objectives.
Accountabilities
1. Performing line management and recruitment, training, and development responsibilities for the team.
2. Deployed as a team to high-risk stores to identify and apprehend theft offenders.
3. Conducting systematic audits for Loss Prevention.
4. Generate detailed incident reports and collate evidence to support criminal prosecutions.
5. Generate detailed reports of the findings from store visits, providing recommendations.
6. Agreeing action plans for stores to follow between visits.
7. Conducting follow-up operational training to support stores.
8. Building relationships with internal stakeholders and external agencies.
9. Completing surveillance operations across the retail/distribution network.

11. This role will have the potential for travel across the UK and will involve overnight stays.
Salary / Hours / Requirements
1. Competitive salary
2. Full-time permanent contract, 44 hours per week
3. Must be fully flexible working 5 days out of 7, working a mixture of shift patterns
4. Full driving licence with own reliable transport REQUIRED
