We are seeking to appoint a full or part time Science Technician to support the learning of science by ensuring that all practical, demonstration and assessment requirements are met on time and safely. This a key role within the department and involves the preparation of laboratory practicals; ensuring apparatus, equipment and chemicals provided are in a serviceable condition whilst maintaining high standards of health & safety. Strong communication and organisational skills are key to this position. Our ideal candidate will have a keen interest in science and possess a science qualification. Previous experience of working in a similar role would be advantageous but is not essential as full training can be provided. This full or part time role is term time only. Salary: H3 (£24,790 – £25,183) per annum, pro rata.
